Tabula Rasa

Inspired by the school of Jaques Lecoq, a space of neutralization via fragmentation was created for the audience. A ritual of purification was completed, in which the spectator could step in and out. The space provided a black tub filled with white paint, masks, cotton wool, fog and single sung letters:

“I-h-a-v-e-n-o-t-h-i-n-g-t-o-s-a-y–a-n-d-I-a-m-s-a-y-i-n-g-i-t-a-n-d-t-h-a-t-i-s-p-o-e-t-r-y-a-s-I-n-e-e-d-i-t.” (John Cage)

 

Durational Participatory Performance/Installation


Tabula Rasa was part of Nixtasy, an immersive Live Art event, created and produced by Die Fabrikanten Live Art Coop: Gabriela Gordillo, Gerald Harringer, Julia Hartig, Bernadette Laimbauer, Patrik Huber, Theresa Muhl, Wolfgang Preisinger.
